Torbay Care Trust is an integrated health and adult social care organisation. They are responsible for providing and commissioning (buying) services for the population of Torbay (England) – around 140,000 people.
They employ approximately 1,300 staff including frontline health and social care staff, such as district nurses, occupational therapists and social workers, and operate from a range of different premises across Torbay such as community hospitals and clinics.
Their aim is provide people with the right care, in the right place, at the right time. They are constantly developing new ways to make services more accessible for the local population, and introducing new opportunities for people to take more control over the care and support you receive to help you live your life the way you want to.
